Children are considered not by age but by height. As per North Carolina state law a child is considered anyone under 48" (4 foot). This is the rule for the entire park and the go-karts.

Children under 48" must be accompanied by an adult on the bumper boat pool. Also children under 48" are not allowed to ride the slide. No exceptions made.
